No, I have not been a grinch my whole life, living at Lacey West Apartments
turned me into one. If you are the adventurous type and would like to
brave these complexes, I would not recommend renting an apartment that faces
any of the alleyways, unless you are the type that enjoys listening to heavy bass
coming from car stereos at all hours of the day, and waking up to it at all hours
of the night. They do have a security guard on duty at night (who is great) but when he
is off duty and you have to call security you will get Chris (one of the office workers)
who will tell you "I'm not getting out of bed". If you have a noise problem during
the day and call to make a complaint the manager will call the neighbor. You might get
lucky and the noise will stop, or your neighbor might be a savage that doesn't
realize that there are people living next door, or doesn't care.
