I came to KMPH FOX 26 in March of 1997 to co-anchor the Ten O'Clock News. I am a native of Trinidad, Colorado, a southern Colorado town with a population of about 10,000. I still keep in touch with friends from home, some I've known since grade school. I attended Otero Jr. College in LaJunta, Colorado, where I was a member of the volleyball team and wrote for the school newspaper. I completed an associate's degree in liberal studies. In 1991, I received a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications with a minor in speech communications from the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley.
