For over 58 years, Johnson Air has provided California with comfortable homes and businesses with HVAC systems designed for energy efficient operation and installation. Otis W. Johnson founded O.W. Johnson sheet metal on July 7, 1947. The company started as a sheet metal shop, providing Fresno County with everything from swamp coolers to sprinkler systems. In 1957, Tom Johnson joined in a partnership with his father, and took control of company operations. Through his leadership and efforts the company’s focus changed to heating and air conditioning. With this new focus, Johnson Company became Johnson Air. Even though the name changed, the company’s commitment to quality has remained the same. This commitment has allowed Johnson Air to grow and provide nearly all of California with quality HVAC installation, service, and repair.
