| Gilman-Mayfield was established in 1981 when Bob Gilman and Bill Mayfield leased 300 square feet from a local gun store. Before opening the store, however Bob was a salesman for a local gun shop while Bill was finishing up the college degree he was going after. Both men tried their hand at gun repairs during the off-hours, and became rather good at it. |
