Fresno Pacific University exists to prepare students for faithful and wise service through excellence in Christian higher education, and to strengthen the church and improve society through scholarship and service. Fresno is located in the Central San Joaquin Valley, between the Sierra Nevada mountains to the east and the beaches of the Pacific Ocean to the west. The metropolitan area is home to about 500,000 people and a rich mix of cultural and ethnic diversity.
