Atmospherics Incorporated (AI) is an operations and research company in the field of applied meteorology. The company was founded in 1960 by Thomas Henderson, an internationally known authority in weather modification. He and his staff have made major contributions in the development and application of the various facets of this relatively young technology. AI has conducted programs of weather resources management and cloud physics research for government, university and private industry sponsors across the U.S. and many foreign countries.
